I’m going to share a few Halloween cards this week – these are not cards that I created but cards form the swaps at convention. I am out of town and I uploaded the pictures to my blog so that I can share them with you while I’m away from my computer but I forgot to write down who the creator was. I’ll have to come back and add that when I get back home. Or if you know who it is then leave a comment.
The first one is the Halloween Frights card. This was a card that we made at the Shoebox swap that I particpated in at convention this year.
The stamp set is Halloween Frights on page 24 in the Idea Book & Catalog. It is a stamp set with a variety of small stamps – you could mix and match them to suit your needs. This is a fun card – I’m not sure what to call it – but I think of it as a peek-a-boo card. The cat image is actually attached on the inside of the card and peeks through the hole punched in the front. The 1-3/4″ punch was used to punch the hole. The other elements are on 1-1/4″ circles, framed in 1-3/8″ circles and scallop circles.
The colors used here are Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black. The picture I took isn’t very good because it was raining again in Georgia when I took them. We were close to flooding again on Monday and more rain was supposed to come today – but I’m away from home (in Virginia) – so I don’t know if it is actually raining or not.
Today is an exciting day – first I’ll have my phone interview with Stampin’ Up! for the December issue of Stampin’ Success magazine. Then tonight I am going to Christina Crawford’s Stamp Camp. She was #32 Demonstrator of the Year this year. It should be fun! And today and the rest of the week I get to spend with my sister-in-law, Stephanie, stamping in her craft room. What fun!
Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for sharing the card, and just be yourself at your interview. I wish you the best of luck.
